Vocal Scholarship
The Richard and Carol Mox Vocal Scholarship Fund was established by the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale, Inc. in remembrance of Richard and Carol Mox and the commitment they made to vocal music programs throughout the metropolitan Detroit community and particularly in Fraser. Their dedication to vocal music performance touched many lives and, through this fund, will continue to enrich the lives of young vocalists.
The Metropolitan Detroit Chorale, Inc. administers the scholarship fund which provides financial assistance to students and alumni of Fraser High School who are pursuing advanced degrees in vocal music. The program awards at least one scholarship each year of up to $500. This scholarship is part of the Chorale’s outreach program which focuses on three aspects of vocal music: education, appreciation, and participation. Since its inception, 17 scholarships have been awarded. Click here to view past recipients.
